Waverley Hill

In 1929, Emily and Herbert McKelden-Smith commissioned New York society architect William Lawrence Bottomley to design Waverley Hill. Landscape design was originally done by Arthur Shurcliff, who had completed the design for Colonial Williamsburg just two years previously.
